1) Plastic bowls

Plastic bowls are inexpensive and will not break when dropped. But if your dog likes to scratch or chew, then plastic may not be the best option. Choose from a range of funky colours and designs to suit your home's interior or exterior.

2) Stainless Steel Bowlsbowl-steel

Stainless steel bowls are the most hygienic and durable. If your dog likes to move or paw his or her bowl, ensure you buy a bowl with a silicone 'skid-free' base. Although stainless steel may cost a little more, you can rest assured that, if it is cared for properly, it will last a lifetime.

3) Elevated Bowls

Elevated dog bowls are raised off the floor on stands. This may relieve your dog from gastrointestinal or digestion problems, as it allows your pet to eat slower and swallow their food more easily. It also allows larger dogs to feed more comfortably, with better posture.

4) Slow Feed Dog bowls

These bowls are for the greedy guts! Some pets have a bad habit of eating too quickly. Slow feeders encourage your pet to eat or drink at a slower pace to reduce air-intake, leading to improved digestion and less bloating.

5) Interactive Dog Bowls

Dog bowls can even be fun! Take the Rogz Tumbler, for example.  The Rogz Tumbler Dog Toy is a Treat Puzzle, to help stimulate both body and mind all while filling your dogs tummy. It comes with 3 adjustable release rates for different levels of learning and feeding. This interactive toy acts as a Slow Feeder designed to prevent gulping. With a large treat cavity, Tumblers are easily filled with various types of treats and dry pellets for your dog to enjoy.

6) Anti-bug Bowlsbowl-anti-ant

If your furkid is tired of sharing his or her meals with ants and other creepy crawlies, it may be a good idea to buy a bowl with an anti-bug moat. The moat that surrounds the bowl is simply filled with water to keep the creepy crawlies out!
