It’s been an exciting year for all of us at Pet Heaven, with some great feedback from customers that will make even the baddest dog on the block feel all warm and fuzzy inside! It was today exactly a year ago when Pet Heaven made it’s first sale, after being nurtured to fruition by it’s founder Courtenay Farquharson. I asked Courtenay what was some of his highlights and memorable experiences of the past year. Here is what he had to say:

"Pet Heaven began as an idea to make acquiring your pet food easier. A 25kg bag of dog food from a vet is not high on anyone's list of things to do on a sunny day. However we have grown far beyond this vision; delighting pet owners countrywide. We have grown so much in one year and done more than we could have ever dreamed of doing.

Pet food began as just pet food and is now a piece of happiness which extends to the bond between pet and owner.

Pet Heaven has become about the pets we delight and the customers we deliver happiness to. Pet food began as just pet food and is now a piece of happiness which extends to the bond between pet and owner. And we're now part of delivering that special bond for many customers. Thats a huge responsibility and priviledge. One that we hope we can excel at. Being part of that bond is a highlight for us.

To steal a line from Zappos, Pet Heaven is a customer service business that happens to sell pet products. Coming to know our customers by name (as well as their pet names) and order detail has been really memorable experience too. I think we have a better experience of what our customers deserve and hopefully in the next year we can really become better at delivering that excellence. Delighting Pet owners. The experiences over the past year has not only taught us how to be patient, caring, accurate and truthful, but how to be more like our pets. Loving not only what we do to the extent that we will do anything and everything required to protect our piece of heaven, but also to love our friends (you guys), share the good times and howl when you are not around!
