IT’S ALL ABOUT THE MEAT

  • Modern dogs are built like their ancestors and we believe they should eat like them too. In nature there are no food supplements, and dogs and wolves derive their nutritional needs by consuming whole prey animals; muscle meat provides protein; liver, kidney and tripe supply vitamins and minerals; bones and cartilage deliver calcium and phosphorus.

How do you know if your dog’s food is Biologically Appropriate™? It’s simple, just answer the three meat questions.

HOW MUCH MEAT?

  • Entirely free of plant protein concentrates, ACANA Wild Coast is loaded with 50% fish — up to twice as much as most pet specialty dog foods.

HOW MUCH FRESH MEAT?

  • 1/3 of the fish in ACANA is FRESH, supplying essential nutrients in their most nourishing form, and 2/3 are dried or oils to provide a concentrated, natural source of protein.

HOW MANY MEATS?

ACANA Wild Coast features 3 fresh fish in WholePrey™ ratios that include fish, organs and cartilage to supply nutrients naturally and completely.

  • Pacific Herring – whole and fresh from Canada’s North Pacific.
  • Arrowtooth Flounder – whole and fresh from Canada’s North Pacific.
  • Pacific Hake – whole and fresh from Canada’s North Pacific.

In nature there are no synthetic supplements, and dogs and wolves derive their nutritional needs by consuming whole prey animals; muscle meat provides protein; liver, kidney and tripe supply vitamins and minerals; bones and cartilage deliver calcium and phosphorus.

ONLY 5 SUPPLEMENTS | NATURAL NUTRIENTS

ACANA Wild Coast’s rich fish and WholePrey™ inclusions supply nutrients in the most natural way possible, limiting supplementation to Vitamins B5, E, choline, zinc and copper.

My Pup is a coast dog, tried this food once as you have to give a coast pup coast food. Was very happy with nutrition and energy in the first week of using this food as to cheaper food, it is really worth spending a bit more on top food that lasts longer than cheaper brands Review by (Posted on 21/05/2019)

Acana wild coast is a good quality of food my little Boston terrier is on this and she looks healthier than ever and her coat is shining. The pellets get my picky eater excited and that's all that really counts. Review by (Posted on 01/04/2019)

Acana wildcoast is a wonderful food for your dog. My Boston terrier is a picky eater but loves these. Her coat has never looked better and she looks healthier. The price tag is high but worth every cent. Review by (Posted on 01/04/2019)

Definitely worth spending a bit more for a premium product. My dogs have had hot spot issues for years, but since switching to a grain and chicken free diet, we've had no more problems. Can recommend all acana products. Review by (Posted on 06/03/2019)

Something Fishy...

Switched the poop factories over to this (one being a notoriously difficult to feed husky). They loved it but have become a little bored of the same food every day....but it has taken them much longer to get bored of it than other foods. They still eat it, and finish the entire bowl so they're only bored of the monotony and not the flavour. Once they start, they can't stop. Both dogs are picking up weight eating the recommended amount so it's definitely far more nutrient rich than they advertise. Both dogs are exceptionally healthy and always full of energy. If you can afford it, go for it. Review by (Posted on 03/04/2018)
