After 4 months
I write this review after 4 months with great satisfaction ;-)
My kitten absolutely LOVES this sloth! It is his favorite cuddle buddy since day one. He has sucked it, kneaded it and even fought quite a few battles with it ;-) and still the sloth looks as new. I have taken the purr mechanism out now that he is 4 months old, but believe me he plays with it constantly. We now have another rescued furry addition to the family, 3 weeks old, and he has also taken to the sloth immediately, yay! Whomever designed and created this sloth needs a thumbs (claws) up! Moderately happy
Be sure to have a small jewelry star screwdriver at hand to replace the batteries. I had to replace the batteries immediately because it did not work. But first I had to go and buy a small jewelry sized screwdriver set to remove the battery casing lid, only to find that one of the batteries was flat and had dried battery acid on it.
I also find the purring sound a bit loud for a prematurely born kitten. That said, it does seem to do the job after the sound fade. (Posted on 13/10/2025)
