How long after Advocate can I bathe my pet?
If you need to, bathe your cat before treatment and apply Advocate when your cat is fully dry. If bathing between treatments, use a soap-free cat shampoo, and it is recommended that you bathe your cat no more than fortnightly.
Can I use Advocate with flea shampoo? How long do I have to wait to use the shampoo?
If bathing your cat, use a soap-free cat shampoo. Flea rinses are not required, and are very stripping of the lipid (fatty/oily) layer of the skin and coat, so are not recommended
Can I use worming tablets with Advocate?
Yes, Advocate can be used with worming tablets, for example Drontal® or Droncit®.
When can I begin using Advocate on my cat or kitten?
Advocate fleas, heartworm and worms treatment for cats is for external use on cats and kittens from 9 weeks of age.
How often should I treat my cat with Advocate?
Advocate should be applied to your cat every month. With regular use, Advocate reaches a “steady state” and provides a constant level of protection again a broad spectrum of parasites.
How long does it take for Advocate to work on fleas and worms?
98-100 per cent of existing fleas on your cat are killed within 12 hours of the first application. After this, and with monthly use, reinfesting fleas are affected within 3-5 minutes and killed within 1 hour. The moxidectin component which is effective internally against heartworms, lungworms and worms is rapidly absorbed (<24 hours).

Love this Product
My cats spend alot of time outside i.e. sleeping/ meditating / birdwatching / rolling around in the garden. Not one flea to be found on any of my 7 cats since using Advocate, nor have they had any problems with worms.
So glad I changed to Advocate! Product actually does what it's meant to to do. No fleas, no worms, easy to apply (if your cat isn't a runner).
It does leave the treated spot a bit sticky with spikey hair for a day or two, but overall definitely a great buy which is why I have it on scheduled delivery :-)

Great product
I used this on 6 of my cats. Keeps them happy and flea free. First time using it and I'm really impressed. So quick and easy to use. It's on them before they even notice.

Excellent product

Best for cats with skin allergy
My cat suffers from flea allergy dermatitis. I've tried a wide variety of products but this is the only one that truly works for him. Just one flea wreaks havoc on his skin, causing an outbreak of bumps and hair loss. This is really the best on the market!

Money wisely spent. Fleas, worms and so much more that could be detrimental to my pets health are killed within minutes
I use Advocat on my cats 4 times a year. It protects them against fleas, flea larva, roundworm, hookworm, heartworm, mites, lungworm, whipworm, biting lice, sarcoptes, demodex and most gastro-intestinal worms. It works within 20 min on larva and 3-5 min on feeding fleas. I'll always use this product as a proactive means of keeping my my pet healthy.

Great Advanced Protection
Great overall protection for my cats. It does all intestinal worms, ear mites and particular well - fleas! The only thing it doesn't do is ticks unfortunately.
