Directions for use:
- Use only as directed
- Using warm water, wet the coat thoroughly and apply Allercalm™. Massage Allercalm™ into the wet coat and rinse.
- Repeat and allow the second application to remain on the coat for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Use weekly or as advised by your veterinary surgeon.

Virbac Allercalm makes use of Defensin Technology, which in combination with Glycotechnology, contributes to increased skin vitality.
Defensin Technology contains two natural plant extracts, Boldo extract and Meadowsweet extract, that stimulate the Endogenous Antimicrobial Peptides (AMPS).
- AMPs act as a natural skin defense in dogs
- Defensin technology has no pro-inflammatory effect
- Defensin technology promotes synthesis AMP
- Defensin technology decreases bacterial load
Glycotechnology is a combination of Monosaccharides decreasing microbe that adheres to the skin.

Continue to use
I previously mentioned that we used Allercalm as a substitute for Pyoderm. We are so happy with the product that it has now become our choice of shampoo. It reduces Leo's itching, smells great and makes his fur soft and silky.

As I previously mentioned, we used Allercalm as a substitute for Pyoderm and we are very happy with the product that we will continue to use it as Leo's preferred shampoo. It stops the itching, smells great and keeps his fur soft and silky looking.

Great Substitute
Pet Heaven was out of Stock on the Virbac Pyoderm which is what I usually use. I decided to try to variant and to my surprise it works just as well. Keeps the itching and dry skin at bay for Leo.

Perfect for Sensitive Skin
One of my dogs has very sensitive skin. She gets dandruff and itchy skin from other shampoos. With Allercalm the coat gets superglossy and she has no problems with flaky, itchy skin. It is expensive, but in my view really worth it if your dog is prone to skin issues.
