Details
The active ingredient in Insect Shield® called Permethrin is a synthetic variant of an insect-repellent substance that occurs naturally in certain chrysanthemum plants. The Permethrin is so tightly bonded to the fabric fibres that it retains effectiveness through the life of the product. This is well beyond the life of most performance fabric finishes.

Washing:
The Scruffs Insect Shield Dog Mattress can be machine washed at 30 degrees.

Beyond Expectations!
I ordered this bed without so much as looking at the description, simply in search of an appealing-to-the-eye, comfortable looking bed to add to the beds scattered throughout the house for my 12 year old Golden Retriever.
It is now, within a matter of days, become her favourite bed! I have never seen my dog, especially in her old age, so comfortable. I am strongly considering buying more.
Only 4 stars for quality as I cannot say what the durability of the product is yet (since we've only had it a couple of days and she's long outgrown her chewing habits) and the "large" size is only just large enough for a Golden Retriever sized dog, so I wouldn't recommend it for any breed larger than that. Would be great if they could release an Extra Large Size! (Posted on 16/05/2020)
